John Sovitch

MR. JOHN M. JACK SOVITCH Age 54 of Marietta, GA died Saturday, April 16, 2005. A United States Air Force veteran, Jack served his country from 1969 until 1979. He was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and was employed by Michigan Bell Telephone and later by A T & T, retiring in 2001. Jack also served as a substitute teacher for the Cobb County School System at Eastside Elementary where his children attended school. He was currently a flight attendant with Air Tran Airways. Jack was elected president of the Eastside Elementary School P.T.A. and the Dodgen Middle School P.T.A. He was a communicant of the Catholic Church of St. Ann and a 4th degree Knight of Columbus. Jack is survived by his wife of 19 years, Jane Tapling Sovitch and his children, Alexander Jonathan Sovitch, age 12 and Paige Elizabeth Sovitch, age 8, all of Marietta. He is also survived by his brother, Jeffrey Sovitch of Taylor, MI, his in-laws, George and Mary Tapling of Oak Park, IL and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
